Tell us what happened

Include the puzzle’s date or edition number, whether you use the website or iOS app, your browser or iOS version, and what you expected to happen. A screenshot can help; remove personal information before sending it. Never send passwords, session cookies, or Keychain contents.

Your daily puzzle

Each edition arrives at 5 a.m. New York time. You have four attempts and up to two hints. Complete the puzzle to reveal its worked explanation. An internet connection is needed to load and score answers.

Progress belongs to your current browser or native app session. Browser and native app progress are separate, and there is no account or cross-device transfer. Clearing browser storage can disconnect you from previous progress.

iOS membership

The iOS app requires an active subscription before play. The monthly plan is US$2.99, with a seven-day free trial for eligible Apple Accounts; your local price and trial eligibility appear before purchase. It renews automatically until cancelled. Cancel in Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before renewal or the trial ends.

Use Restore purchases in the app to recover an active membership with the Apple Account used to subscribe. Restore does not transfer puzzle progress. Manage or cancel your subscription in Apple subscription settings. Deleting the app or requesting data deletion does not cancel billing.

iOS beta and reminders

The native iOS app is currently available through invited TestFlight testing. Open your invitation using the Apple account that was invited. The app is not yet publicly released on the App Store.

Reminders are optional local notifications at 8 a.m. in your device’s time zone. Use Settings in the app to change the reminder, or iOS Settings to manage notification permission.

Privacy and deletion requests

To request deletion of your play history or ask about your data, email hello@morningmaths.com. We may need to verify the device session associated with your request. Read our privacy policy for the data we store and how long we retain it.
